Gobare has grown tremendously since the initial opening. From just this past July to September, Kristin says they have added more than 75 new clients.
It was such an upswing that Kristin needed to add another Xtreme Lashes Stylist to her crew. She’s planning further expansion for the future with hopes to open several more Gobare locations over the next few years, staffed with additional Xtreme trained Stylists.

Originally she had planned to open a full service Day Spa in the summer of 2008 but plans quickly changed after her husband noticed that her eyelash business was expanding rapidly in such a short amount of time.
The new plans evolved to become Exclusive Eyelash Designs & Spa, the first Spa in Northern Ohio to specialize in eyelash extensions.

The small part-time location was soon overrun and Lisa moved on to open her very own lash business in a space belonging to her alone.
“Looks Lashes” is now a staple beauty destination for many of Tucson’s finest. She’s booked solid during her regular Tues-Thurs & Saturday hours and often has to work in special appointment requests on her off days to accommodate her lash devotees.

Cheri’s New York Lash Boutique, with its comfortable but eclectic décor, mixing soothing neutral tones with hot and fiery reds, now serves over 50 regular clients. “I absolutely love working for myself and doing my own thing - just lashes,” “I work every day right now and I usually work late, just to squeeze them in.”
Her client roster includes the likes of Supermodel Molly Sims, Danielle Jonas (wife of Jonas Brother Kevin), American Idol alum Kathryn McPhee, movie producer Hilary Shor, Guiding Light actress Tina Sloan and Fox 5 News reporter Lisa Murphy.

I look at lash extensions as a whole new separate industry just like doing hair. This is the new thing and it’s not going anywhere. I would not be doing nearly as well as I’m doing without doing lash extensions.
