GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Cure Speed: Time required for the adhesive to dry, allowing clients to resume normal activities including exposing extended lashes to water, humidity, heat, perspiration, cosmetics, etc. Picking up more adhesive will slow down the cure speed. Picking up less adhesive will speed up the cure speed.

Open Time: Maximum allowable time from the moment the eyelash extension is lifted from the adhesive to when it should make contact with the natural eyelash. Picking up more adhesive will increase open time. Picking up less adhesive will decrease open time.

Place & Release Attachment: The technique of positioning the eyelash extension on the natural eyelash, 1/2 - 1 mm from the eyelid, and releasing for attachment. When using the Place & Release technique, picking up less adhesive will result in faster attachment time.

Fixture Time: Upon attaching the eyelash extension to the natural eyelash, attachment or fixture time is defined as the time that it takes for the synthetic eyelash extension to adhere to the natural eyelash after which repositioning or movement of the eyelash extension is no longer possible. The amount of adhesive used for coating will determine the attachment time. Picking up more adhesive will increase attachment time. Picking up less adhesive will decrease attachment time. Aftercare Note: Avoid direct contact with moisture or excessive heat within the first three hours after lash application.

¹ Fumes are particles that are emitted into the air, generated by all cyanoacrylate eyelash extension adhesives. In addition, when adhesive fumes are emitted they produce an odor. The odor detected is subjective: perceived differently by each individual. The concentration of fumes and odor in your lash application space will depend on the degree of ventilation. To minimize odor and fumes, use the Xtreme Lashes Environmental System comprised of the Air Cleanse, Hygrothermometer Clock, and Mini Fan.

² Please note that while this adhesive enables you to have up to 4 week retention, at 4 weeks post lash application, if a ReLash- has not occurred, a full lash extension removal (Peel Removal or Adhesive Removal) may be necessary prior to a lash application. Over the 4 week period, your natural lashes will grow extensively resulting in twisting of the natural lash and the extension being top heavy creating tension on natural lash follicle.

³ Although some of our adhesives may perform well outside of this range, in order to minimize adverse reactions, please strive to maintain the humidity in your lash application space between 45%-60%. Keeping your humidity level between 45%-60% allows excess adhesive fumes to bind with water vapor in the air instead of binding with the moisture present in the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, and mouth.
