How do I prevent irritation?<\/strong> The leading cause of irritation is almost always due to incorrect placement of lower lash coverings.\u00a0Follow these steps in order to properly cover your client\u2019s lower lashes and minimize irritation.<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. \n
    Gently lift the eyelid to expose the lower lash line.\u00a0Do not have the client open their eyes or look up as\u00a0this will cause the patch to shift into the eye once the client closes their eyes.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    Follow the contour of the lower eyelid margin and gently place the patch over the client’s lower lashes, 1mm from the lower eyelid margin.\u00a0The under eye patch should not cover the eyelid margin.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n
    Release the eyelid and gently secure the patch or segment down.\u00a0The patch should rest comfortably.\u00a0Do not press the eye patch onto the under eyes.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \n
    After applying under eye patches to both eyes, lift each upper eyelid, one at a time, to ensure correct positioning.\u00a0Carefully tweak positioning as needed to ensure that the client’s lower eyelashes are fully covered.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  5. The upper and lower eyelid margins of each eye should touch when the eyes close.\u00a0Make sure the upper eyelid is not resting\u00a0on the under eye patch.
